DESCRIPTION:NIKHEF Amsterdam\, October 7\, 2016 \nThe meeting will be at Nikhef in H331. For this meeting there will be two external speakers\, the schedule is: \n14:00-15:00 Talk by Oleg Lebedev (University of Helsinki)\n\n\nTitle:  The Higgs and cosmology \nAbstract: I will discuss a special role of the Higgs boson in probing the hidden sector. Specifically\, I will focus on possible connections between the Higgs and dark matter\, as well as those between the Higgs and inflation. The latter is particularly important in light of the apparent metastability of the electroweak vacuum.
